G. Scott Maynor is Of Counsel to the Kim Law Firm. Scott grew up in Greensboro, North Carolina and graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Charleston School of Law. Scott started his career as an Assistant District Attorney for Charleston County in 2015, where he successfully tried to verdict a number of criminal cases in the Charleston County Courthouse. He left the 9th Circuit Solicitor’s Office to practice civil litigation throughout South Carolina, successfully representing a number of businesses, HOAs, and professionals in the Lowcountry. In 2023, Scott expanded his practice to California and pivoted to mass tort litigation, specifically representing individuals, families, and businesses who have suffered catastrophic losses from wildfires. Scott takes a client-first approach to every case, learning each client’s story and seeking maximum compensation in every case. Besides helping clients, he enjoys spending time with friends and family.
